Urgent prayer needed!

Can we please, please, please remember and pray for the families of Tori Johnson and Katrina Dawson the two victims who got caught up  in the siege in an Australian cafe yesterday.  Also for the families of the 141  victims of the Taliban gunmen who attacked a school in Peshawar Pakistan of which 132 were children! It is so hard to think of the pain that ripples through their families right at this moment. As we try to imagine what they are going through, please let that fuel your prayers for them. May the God of all comfort wrap his loving arms around them and soothe their aching souls during this difficult time.

Praying for all the brokenhearted

As Christmas fast approaches, lets please remember those who are hurting. While we rush around buying presents, food, and decorations, please try and remember those who find Christmas a challenge, a struggle, and a time of intense amplified pain. There are those who have been separated from their loved ones for whatever reason, and it may not even have been their choice.  For them Christmas symbolises a time when their heart breaks all over again. So I ask that as we all tuck into our turkey and Christmas pudding, that we spare a thought for those who are wishing the whole thing was over! Let us pray for them, that they will be comforted by Jesus the God of all comfort. May they have a special experience of his amazing presence. May they be reassured that the whole reason he came, was to deal with every level of pain past, present and future. May God help us all at this time, as we celebrate his birth and desire to come to earth and affect our lives for the better!
